It’s now confirm that on Sept. 4, two days before the Manila event, there will also be WordCamp Davao (with the Venue to be announce later) which will be held at Bryan’s Grill & Café in Palm Village (beside Bo. Obrero). Matt Mullenweg will also attend the WordCamp here in Davao aside from the WordCamp event which be held at College of St. Benilde at Taft Avenue, Manila. My intention on why I wanna join this event i because I wanna learn more about Wordpress specially on the developer site of it.
To Quote of the Organizers:
WordCamp Davao hopes to gather WordPressers — as well as other bloggers who would like to know more about the power of WordPress — PHP coders or developers, and computer graphics designers. This event will admittedly not be as comprehensive as the one in Manila, but we will try to make it as informative and fun as possible.
For one, it’s our chance to hear the words of the creator of WordPress himself!
Registration for WordCamp Davao is mandatory. Only those who are registered will be allowed to participate — free to join! So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the online sign-up form now!

SAN FRANCISCO — Steven P. Jobs, Apple’s chief executive, took several big gambles Tuesday, betting that he could repeat his success in selling digital music by persuading Hollywood to allow Apple to rent digital movies, while at the same time returning to his original Macintosh roots with an elegant — but limited — ultralight computer called the MacBook Air.

I had an interesting conversation with Fwendz Diner Owner/Entrepreneur Chris Cubos about helping out on the SiliconGulf project by contributing some of my designs for logos and other designs concepts. But Tope informed
me that we already had a logo designed through logo design contest which where
participates by students from various universities.
I also found out through my constant lurking on Mybloglog that Silicon Gulf’s now has a blog created by Blogie (Silicongulf.org).
Today I was invited by Fwendz Diner owner Chris Cubos on a seminar about Adobe Flex and Adobe Acrobat. Excited, I brought along some of my officemates to the seminar so that they are exposed to the new technologies Adobe has to offer.
Adobe Acrobat and MacOSX Leopard
When I reached the venue, Chris introduced me to Mr. Ted Padova, an expert on Adobe Acrobat who also writes an ebook about Acrobat. Sir Ted showed us the wonders of new Mac OSX Leopard operating system before moving on to Adobe Acrobat.
