Facebook Acquires Friendfeed

There where rumor circulating around the the interwebs about Facebook borrowing some of Friendfeed features. Then finally news that Friendfeed is now officially acquired by Facebook.

The biggest win here for Facebook is the FriendFeed team, which includes an all-star cast of ex-Googlers. Perhaps best known of these is Paul Buchheit, who is responsible for creating Gmail, pioneering some of Google’s early (and incredibly lucrative) advertising products, and coining Google’s “Don’t be evil” motto. Other ex-Googler co-founders include Bret Taylor, Jim Norris, and Sanjeev Singh.

And so begins the next step in Facebook’s assault on Twitter.

One of Windows 7′s most interesting features is going to be the Windows XP mode, available on Professional and Ultimate edition licenses. Typically, virtual machines are only supported via separatelypurchase software from vendors such as VMWare and Microsoft. This limits its audience and appeal to many everyday users. So Microsoft decided to do something unique and bundle Windows 7 with a virtual machine with Windows XP inside. This allowed them not only to bring virtualization to the masses, but also to seamlessly integrate compatibility for legacy applications.

Google ChromeI’ve been using Google Chrome almost exclusively when I surf the internet (with the occasion use of Firefox when I’m doing web design and development) because of the simplicity of it’s user interface and most of the sites that I regularly surf to works better on Chrome.

With that in mind, I tried looking for some tips and tricks for power user of Chrome user like me (we are hoping that google could port Chrome to Linux and Mac natively so that everyone can enjoy this browser).
