Hardy Heron Desktop
Last April, Ubuntu.com has announced the release the latest version of the Ubuntu Linux distro aptly name “Hardy Heron”. Here’s the lowdown of the new release:

New Features:

  • Firefox 3 is the new default internet browser
  • New Gnome Desktop system (Gnome 2.22)
  • New Default CD/DVD burner sofware (Brasero)
  • Transmission, a newly popular BitTorrent client. This replaces the old standard BitTorrent utility
